One-Piece Pool Deck Drains are available in different styles. Designed to carry water away and to prevent puddles on the pool deck, these straight pieces of channel drain Do NOT have a removable top that snaps into place. In the event one of these styles break, there is a way to repair it, but the method is difficult. Many contractors sell this type of drain because it is cheaper. Cheaper is not always better. Different Types of One-Piece pool deck drains (different sizes). Although the names shown below are essentially the same thing, on this website, the 'deck drain' has a flat top; the 'Channel Drain' has ridges and is slightly wider than the Deck-O-Drain.
