World Poker Tour WPTDeepStacks Gold Coast 2021 is a poker tournament in Queensland,Australia.The Star Gold Coast (formerly Jupiters Hotel and Casino) is a casino and hotel located in the suburb of Broadbeach on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. The casino, which was Queensland’s first, is situated next to the Nerang River and is operated by Star Entertainment Group. It opened in February 1986 as Conrad Jupiters. In 2017 it was rebranded as The Star, Gold Coast.One per cent of the casino’s gross gaming revenue is deposited in the Gambling Community Benefit Fund. This fund was established in 1987, supports non-profit community-based groups and is administered by the Government of Queensland.The seven acre complex includes eight bars, seven restaurants, conference facilities, a ballroom, theatre, health spa and gym. The hotel, with 592 rooms, stands 66 metres (216 feet) and has 21 floors. The complex is governed under the Jupiters Casino Agreement Act.

The World Poker Tour is heading to Australia.

Star Entertainment Group and the WPT announced on Wednesday a historic partnership that will see the famous poker tour head Down Under for the very first WPT Australia festival at The Star Gold Coast from 27 September to 7 October 2019.

The 10-event schedule will feature buy-ins ranging from AU$330 to AU$5,000, headlined by the AU$2,500 Main Event starting from 4 October.

The Star Gold Coast, formerly known as Jupiters, has recently completed an AU$850 million transformation of its facilities, including upgrades to its existing 596 hotel rooms, the launch of luxury all-suite hotel The Darling and opening of a spectacular new rooftop venue called Nineteen at The Star.

Star Entertainment Group has also unveiled an AU$2 billion masterplan that could see another five hotels built in Broadbeach should it be given the green light.
